Updates

Well, we celebrated health a little too soon, as I got the barf bug on Monday night last week. All my ambition of writing went out the window. It was the last week of school, my dad had his hip replaced, and my in-laws were heading out of town for a few weeks, so we wanted to spend some time with them before they left. All in all it was a crazy, but good week. My dad is doing well and is recovering at home. He has weeks of therapy ahead of him, but is being a good patient and doing his exercises. Jeffrey is out of school for the summer, and is loving the later bed-time and lazy days of playing. The B's and Andrew are healthy, and Andrew has been off oxygen for a few days, so we are all grateful for that!

We have had a quiet memorial day at home, and are grateful to all of our service men and women who have sacrificed for our freedom. It is humbling to think of our armed forces protecting us at home and all over the world. Thank you.

Memorial Day always seems like the official start to summer, so welcome summer! Jeff and I are looking forward to long days of playing with our boys! I'll post some pictures from Jeffrey's last day of school and the progess on the pool!
