ho ho ho - verb - to shop like crazy people right before Christmas. (2) to spend un-necessary $$$ to buy really really fun things for your kids
So, hmmmm, you guessed it, Jeff and I went ho ho ho-ing (not whoring you dirty minded, readers) today.
We made one stop - Toys R Us, and we are now the proud owners of not one, but two cozy coupe cars (the cheap plastic ones, not electric - we aren't that crazy), one buggy for Andrew to ride in, and the latest version of Gameboy.
We were unfamiliar with what was cool with Gameboy, so we had to call on the expert advice of my 9 year old nephew, Stephen. He educated us on the difference between Nintendo DS (the latest Gameboy) vs. the Portable Playstation - very expensive, but you can download games and play music on it. He even knew prices. Two cell-phone calls to him, two shopping carts later, and we were out the door.
HO HO HO, indeed.
Hee hee.. Now Jeff is having to put them together!
