a quick update...

Here is a Voth general status report so you don't think we have fallen off the internet...

Daddy Jeff - has healed sooooo nicely from having his leg worked on. He now has two very sexy legs as opposed to one sexy and one not-so sexy leg (if you saw his legs, you would understand:). He is working on training some new people, whom we affectionately call "the newbies" and is all stuffed up with allergies. He is in a Nyquil induced coma after going to bed very early.

#1 Son - Jeffrey is rocking and rolling through first grade. We rec'd his report card today, where his teacher wrote "Funny Jeffrey! A boy who has a strange talent to be both silly and serious at the same time..." So, she pretty much has him pegged in the first nine weeks of school. Seriously, he is off to a great start, loves math (his mama's child) and is a great reader.

#2 Son - Blake. ahhh, Blake. Everyone should love life like Blake. He plays hard, sleeps hard, and when he complains, complains hard. There is no middle ground with Blake - he is totally happy and laughing - or he is totally ticked. He loves schoool, is learning the letter "a", learning his colors, and likes to sing "happy birthday."

#3 Son - Brantley. When my dad calls me, he always asks,"how's my man?" and he is talking about Brantley. Brantley lights up when he sees my dad, and has his Poppy wrapped around his little finger. Brantley, who we affectionately call "q-tip" (because he is tiny and has white hair that sticks off his head like cotton), has no fear what-so-ever of authority. We are trying, we really are with him. He is so dang cute (and he knows it) and he will stare you down if you are trying to discipline him. My dad calls him the ultimate combo of mama's boy and tough guy. Brantley comes and gets in our bed every night. He is so small, and he has learned to sneak in from at our feet, that we don't even know he's there till we wake up in the morning, and there he is between us. He's rotton. (but cute.)He is our singer with his recent favorites of "Jesus loves me" (it's a good thing!), "twinkle twinkle little star", and "Donald!" (old MacDonald had a farm). In Brantley's world, only a cow lives on the farm.

#4 Son - Andrew. It is never a dull moment with Andrew. He is perfecting the art of sitting up, and now can sit with a nice straight back. He loves the view this gives him of his toys and brothers. He is turning into a splasher in the big tub. He is getting quick with his military crawl and has started babbling. I have a follow-up with the ENT to check on his ears tomorrow. He can light up the room with his full body smiles and is always so happy to see you. His first year is almost over (sigh), but at least the twins are learning to sing him happy birthday.

I am loving the twins being in preschool, am finishing up the last few weeks of a Beth Moore Bible study, chairing our school's auction and banqet, and chasing boys (my own - not new ones). We are currently keeping an eye on hurrican Wilma to see if we need to go visit Mimi & Poppy in South Carolina. We are stocked up on diapers and water, but I really don't care to do without power, so if it looks like things might get bad, I am outta here!

I'm off to bed - I've got some cute pics that are still on the camera. I'll post them soon! love,mv.

The weather is always nice in SC. Give me a call if you head this way. I live the bath pitures. I think Blake is a clone of Jeffrey.
